When Women Speak

Women tend to invest quite a lot in their personal development, relative to their male counterparts. They make sure that their knowledge and skills are up to date and often have a clear picture of what they want. In addition, women are great connectors and have the ability to see and experience the world – and their position within it – in its entirety.

And yet, all too often, these leadership qualities remain hidden behind the scenes because it isn’t given enough of a voice to be expressed. On some level, many women still feel that it is better to be cautious; a little voice in their minds warning them not to stand out too much or to be too outspoken. Or not to risk sounding too ‘feminine’ in organizations where there is still a predominantly male energy. The result: swallowing your words, softening your statements and making yourself smaller or less important. Or the alternative: shouting and overcompensating.

This sense of being limited or held back has a long history in the feminine line. At the same time, the need for more female leadership in the world is by now widely recognized. That can only be made possible if this female leadership also has a clear voice in our organizations and boardrooms. And takes the floor in our conference rooms.

In this one-day training, we will examine the most important obstacles experienced by the ‘female voice’. We will practice different ways in which women can be clear and assertive, without losing their feminine elegance. Speaking powerfully from connection and vision. From authenticity and confidence.

Structure of the Training

The program for this training includes a combination of speaking, writing, dialogue and body language. We consider the most important obstacles that are still preventing you from expressing your authentic self. Also, we practice choosing and expressing messages that are clear and assertive, as well as making those messages tangible. Storytelling and interaction exercises serve as tools for experimenting with the ‘feminine touch’.

In the open trainings, we work with groups of a maximum of 12 participants.

For in-company trainings, please contact us via the contact form so that we can put together a proposal to suits your needs.
